One improvement recently is that midi seems to just work. But with Linux there is no difference I can tell between the PDF and direct print output - as it should be. Tabledit is probably at fault for this, it's just a pain. Major pain, as each piece of music requires different settings to fit it to the page ideally. In Windows to do this, the PDF file requires different print settings and margins etc. I often save the output to PDF files to exactly preserve the print format.
